What age groups do you coach?
FTF Goalkeeper Coaching welcomes goalkeepers of all abilities, from beginners to more experienced players. Sessions are tailored to suit each goalkeeper's age, experience, and stage of development.
Do I need previous goalkeeping experience?
Not at all. Whether you're new to goalkeeping or looking to develop advanced techniques, our sessions are designed to help every goalkeeper improve.
What should I bring to a session?
Please bring goalkeeper gloves, suitable football boots, shin pads, comfortable training clothing, and a water bottle.
What happens during a 1-to-1 session?
Every 1-to-1 session is tailored to the individual goalkeeper, focusing on areas such as handling, footwork, diving, positioning, distribution, communication, and decision-making.
What are group sessions like?
Group sessions allow goalkeepers to train alongside others in a fun and competitive environment while developing technical skills, game understanding, and confidence.
Do you offer goalkeeper coaching for teams?
Yes. We provide specialist goalkeeper coaching for grassroots teams, helping goalkeepers develop within their team environment while preparing them for match situations.
How long are the sessions?
Session lengths vary depending on the type of coaching. Full details will be provided when booking.
Is Coach Jayden qualified?
Yes. Jayden has over 10 years of goalkeeper playing experience, has coached with We Make Footballers Aberdeen for over two years, is currently working towards his Scottish FA C Licence, and is both First Aid and PVG certified.
How do I book a session?
You can book by getting in touch through our contact page or by messaging us on our social media channels, you can also book online on our website.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes, parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch sessions from the designated viewing area while respecting the coaching environment.
What if the weather is bad?
Sessions will only be cancelled if the weather makes it unsafe to train. If this happens, we'll contact everyone as early as possible to arrange an alternative date where possible.
